Animoto!!!Simple....

I finally got through with my short video on Animoto. I tell you, it is easy. At first I was having difficulties because I did not know that the videos I created were already in "My Account" and I was wondering what happen to all 3 videos that I started making. I know, airhead me. So, the pros of Animoto is that it is easy. It is just a click of a button. It is also exciting to watch because of all its different templates and you can customize it. You can also share it or tag others to view your show. Now the cons is that it requires internet to work it and for more features you need to pay up.

Toondoo or not to To do..I ask myself

My experience with Toondoo, was a little bit complicated. It is new to me and I was really trying to figure out how to navigate it. I was able to figure some out but I know that it has more capabilities after I saw the samples. For now based on what I know, I can see it being an effective tool in a classroom. It can be used for vocabulary comprehension, summarize a lesson, it can be to simply determine understanding. It can be fun for the students, in which they can use their imagination. However, like majority of the online tools, it requires internet, but the good thing is that your cartoons can be downloaded to computer and send it to others to view.

Simple and Fast...WORDLE

It is actually simple and easy. I heard of Wordle about 3 years ago but never thought of exploring it. Today I did, and I regret not trying it earlier because it is easy and user-friendly. It is as simple as using Microsoft Word. Creating an account is not required, you just go straight to creating it. It is a great strategy for studying terms or a topic. Even is you don't have an account to retrieve your work, but it will give you a link to find it. The only downside offcourse it the usual, the need of internet. But other than that, it is easy and fun.

My interest on Pinterest...

Working on Pinterest did not really caught my interest. It can be fun for some people, though. It is somewhat easy to work on but somehow I am not feeling it. But just because I am not interested doesn't mean it is not useful. A teacher can use it as a study guide, in which all topics discussed can be on it. It can also be just an information locator. Teachers can assign a project and the students can create it there. You can upload other resources from your computer not just from the internet. Since it a type of social network, you can invite followers. I can say that one of the disadvantage is that internet is a must in order to use it.

BLENDSPACE!!!!Love it...

When I first got in I thought it was going to be another Glogster, but I thought wrong. It was user friendly and very minimal steps. It is useful for a someone who enjoys teaching out of the classroom. It should be effective because it allows movies, articles, presentations and quizzes.  Another perk is that people can dialogue by commenting on the side of the presentation. You can also invite others to view your blendspace. It can be use for an alternative way of meeting your with your class. The disadvantage though may be that it requires internet to work, but when it does it is fun.

I think I like VoiceThread.com......

When I first began to get to know it, it was giving me a difficult time. I was beginning to get frustrated. BUT THEN, I searched high and low for help and I so I found my good sister Antenille. I initially thought that it was the website but then she fixed it. It was Chrome. But oh well..it's fixed. So I started my journey, and I began my mission to create my voice thread. And when I did, it was so easy and fun. So I realized that this can be useful for on-line class as well as a classroom. It can for projects or just a place for dialogue to happen. Some student rather type than talk. It can on a certain topic that is discussed in class. The good thing is that you can use it offline BUT, with a fee. I don't really see a big disadvantage to VoiceThread. Try it it is awesome.
